About The
RLBA
The Residential Logbook Association
(RLBA) is the DLUCH supported trade association and self-regulatory body for companies providing digital logbooks for the residential property market. Our members are providers of logbook systems and services and we work closely with all organisations in residential property market who require access to validated property data.
Introduction
The RLBA believe that Residential Logbooks will help transform every aspect of owning and managing residential property in the UK. They will help owners and occupiers take control of their home's digital life and will enable homeowners to participate in the multiple digital revolutions impacting residential property.
The RLBA believe that all data created for a home, about a home or even by a home should belong to that home and be accessible and usable by the homeowner.
Background
The RLBA is the UK's self-regulatory body for residential property lobgbooks..
We are working to create a consistent and regulated basis for residential logbooks to be integrated into the different aspects of the property industry.
Our objective is for all residential property transactions to eventually be supported by a regulated residential logbook.
We are currently consulting with stakeholders across the property industry to understand their interests and concerns about logbooks and the self-regulatory process.
We also champion the potential role of residential logbooks in the fast changing landscape for residential property data.
